Dallas, TX I am currently the Associate Band Director at Lake Highlands High School in the Richardson Independent School District in Dallas, TX. I teach Jazz Band, Marching Band, and the second of three concert bands. I have wonderful, bright, talented students who love performing and playing their instruments. I am the proudest band nerd I know. I am engaged to be married in December at my Alma Mater, TCU. My fiancee Amy teaches Yoga, Colorguard, and Oboe lessons. I spent one summer building houses for poor families in Juarez, Mexico. Worked for a couple of years for Wal-Mart and Coca-Cola before heading off in March 2003 to India for two years as a missionary (no kidding!). I will return to the States in Feb. 05 and will move to Cincinnati, OH to attend grad school. I hope to teach at a Christian college or in the Religion Dept. of a regular college. I love traveling and photography; I have been to Albania, Austria, France, India, Italy, Laos, Mexico, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. I met my wife, Heidi, at OCC, and we married May 15, 1999. No kids yet. In 2000 I gave birth to my first and only son Gavin who is now about to turn 5! After graduating from college, I worked as a corporate tax accountant for 3 years before making a career shift into the insurance industry. I have spent the past 21/2 years in the insurance business. I married Mark Gerstein (a brilliant man from Montreal) on May 30, 2004, and we moved to Hong Kong for 10 months for his job. I gave up my job in the process. Upon leaving KSU (literally) I found my wonderful wife. We got married 8/99. Shortly thereafter my job transfered me to Des Moines, IA. While there we had a child, which is the coolest thing a married couple can accomplish! A year and a half later we moved back to OP. I decided to quit my sales job.
